A Talk as Part of the Folkingham Georgian Festival

As part of the postponed event we were happy to provide, in house, one of the suite of lectures that makes up an integral part of our Festivals. In this instance Alison looked into the dark and murky world of the Georgian Gamblers and exposed the underbelly of addiction and corruption accross all strata of society, male and female, young an old, and the effects it had on lives without the safety net of a welfare state.
